Who it's for
Play4Play is for people 13 and older. If you're under 13, please don't use Play4Play.
What Play4Play does
Play4Play lists games made by indie devs, so devs can play each other's games and comment on them. Devs host their own games. Play4Play doesn't run game servers and isn't responsible for the games, for what happens inside them, or for the sites they're on. Every listed game is free to play in the browser, or has a free web demo.
You don't need an account to browse, play, or comment. Signing in with your email lets you list games, comment under your profile, and show up in a game's "Played by" list.
Rules
- Be kind. Honest feedback is welcome; hate, harassment, and threats aren't.
- No adult or sexual content, gambling, crypto, scams, or spam. That goes for listed games too.
- Only list games you made or helped make.
Staff can remove any comment, game, or account that breaks these rules. Use "Report" on a game, comment, or profile to flag a problem.
What we store
- When you sign in, we save your email address so we can send you sign-in links. Nobody else sees it, and we don't send you anything else.
- Your profile: the name and profile link you choose, your X handle if you add one, and your profile picture if you upload one. These are public.
- The games you list, their images, the comments you post, and which games you clicked Play on while signed in. Your plays show up in a game's "Played by" list.
- When you comment or report as a guest, we save the name you typed (if any) and a one-way key made from your IP address that changes every day, only to limit spam. We don't keep the IP itself, and the key can't be matched across days.
- Reports and moderation actions.
- Browsing and playing doesn't save anything about you in our database. Like any website, our host (Cloudflare) keeps short-lived request logs.
